Law-enforcement requests
Last updated 31 August 2026 · wproxy Networks Ltd.
wproxy cooperates with valid legal process from competent authorities. We do not provide informal access to customer data, and we notify the affected customer unless we are legally barred from doing so.
1. How to serve us
Send process to legal@wproxy.io and, for UK production orders, to our registered office. We require a valid instrument — a production order, warrant, or equivalent under the law of a competent authority. Informal emails, foreign requests without a UK/EU recognition path, and overly broad asks will be refused.
2. What we can produce
Account identity and billing records; proxy-user identifiers; 30 days of connection metadata (timestamp, destination host, bytes, status). We cannot produce request or response bodies because we do not retain them. We cannot identify a human behind a residential exit without going through the relevant sourcing partner, and only then under compulsion.
3. Customer notice
Unless a gag provision applies, we notify the account owner before disclosure so they can seek to challenge it. Emergency disclosures to prevent imminent harm to a person are made only where the law permits, and are documented.
