GDPR & UK GDPR

Last updated 31 August 2026 · wproxy Networks Ltd.

wproxy is established in the United Kingdom. We comply with the UK GDPR and, where EU personal data is processed, with the EU GDPR. This page summarises the position; the Privacy Policy and DPA are the operative documents.

1. Roles

For account, billing, support and website analytics data, wproxy is the controller. For connection metadata generated when you route traffic through the network, wproxy is the processor and you are the controller (or a processor acting for your own customer).

2. Lawful bases

Contract (to provide the service you bought), legitimate interests (securing the network, preventing fraud), legal obligation (tax, lawful requests), and consent (optional analytics and marketing email). You can withdraw marketing consent from any email footer.

3. Making a request

Data-subject requests: privacy@wproxy.io. We respond within one month. We may need to verify identity before disclosing account data. Processor requests that relate to traffic metadata should come from the account owner so we do not disclose one customer’s logs to another.
