The network

One network, every vantage point you need

Five proxy types on a single gateway, sharing one set of credentials, one API and one bill. Switch a workload from datacenter to residential by changing four characters in a username.

Proxy types

Five pools. Pick the cheapest one that works.

Most teams overpay by defaulting to residential. Start at the bottom of this list and move up only when the target forces you to.

Try it now

From nothing to a working endpoint

This is the real credential format. Choose a country, pick a session type, copy the line and paste it into your client — the only thing a live account adds is a password that works.

Pin traffic to a specific network operator.

Your endpoint

res.wproxy.io:8000:customer-demo-country-us:s3cr3t-pass

Targeting lives in the username, so one hostname covers every combination. Change any option above and the credentials update immediately.

curl -x "http://customer-demo-country-us:s3cr3t-pass@res.wproxy.io:8000" \
  -L "https://ip.wproxy.io/json"
Why wproxy

Built by people who got tired of proxy vendors

Four things we do differently, all of which came from being on the buying side of this market for years.

0charged for failed requests

You only pay for bytes you received

Blocked responses, retries, TLS handshakes and CONNECT overhead are absorbed by us. Competitors meter all of it, which is how a 100 GB plan quietly delivers 70 GB of usable data.

340cities, no upsell

City and ASN targeting on every plan

Granular targeting is the difference between usable and useless data, and it is standard here — not an enterprise upsell. Pay-as-you-go accounts get the same controls a $50k contract does.

Hourlyper-country reporting

Success rates published per country

The dashboard shows real success rates for every country and product, updated hourly, including the bad ones. If Vietnam is having a rough week you will see it before your pipeline does.

30 daysconsent re-verification

A sourcing chain you can audit

Every residential IP traces to a named partner, a consent record and a payout. We will walk your compliance team through it and put them on a call with the partner if they want.

Comparison

How we stack up

An honest read of the market. Budget providers genuinely are cheaper per gigabyte — they just charge you for the failures, which is where the saving goes.

Customers

What they actually say

40 TBmonthly volume

We moved 40 TB a month off a competitor because their success rate quietly degraded every quarter and nobody would tell us why. wproxy publishes per-country success rates in the dashboard. That transparency alone was worth the migration.

Priya Raghavan

Head of Data Engineering, Northwind Data

312cities monitored

The city and ASN targeting is the real differentiator. We need pricing as it appears to a shopper in Lyon on Orange, not a generic French exit. Nobody else exposes that granularity without an enterprise contract.

Marc Vidal

CTO, Meridian Retail

Our compliance team spent six weeks auditing proxy vendors. wproxy was the only one that could produce a consent chain for every IP in the pool and let us talk to their sourcing partners directly.

Elena Fischer

VP Legal & Compliance, Bastion Security

−73%p50 latency

Latency went from 1.4 seconds to 380 milliseconds when we switched our crawl fleet to ISP proxies. Same success rate, a third of the wall-clock time, and the bill went down because we stopped paying for retries.

Tom Okafor

Principal Engineer, Parsely

2.1Bpages / month

We train on public web data and needed a partner who understood the difference between crawling responsibly and crawling fast. The rate-limit controls and per-domain concurrency caps are built in, not bolted on.

Sarah Lindqvist

Data Platform Lead, Halcyon AI

Support answered a routing question at 2am on a Sunday with a packet capture and a fix. That is not normal for this industry.

Founder, Vector Nine

Security & ethics

The boring parts, taken seriously

Proxy networks fail on trust long before they fail on technology. Here is what we commit to, in writing, before you give us a card number.

Consent-verified sourcing

Every residential IP maps to a named partner, a disclosure record and a compensation trail, re-verified every 30 days.

Metadata-only logging

Timestamp, destination host, bytes and status for 30 days. No request bodies, no response bodies, no full URLs. Ever.

Enforced acceptable use

Automated detection for credential stuffing, CSAM signatures and DDoS patterns, plus a 24-hour abuse response commitment.

Account security by default

TOTP two-factor, scoped API keys with rotation, IP allowlisting for the dashboard, and a full audit log on every plan.

GDPR and UK DPA aligned

Processor DPA available on request and countersignable from the dashboard, with sub-processors published and change notice given.

FAQ

Questions we get asked most

A proxy is a server that makes web requests on your behalf. Instead of your computer connecting directly to a website, it connects to our gateway, which forwards the request and returns the response. The website sees our exit address rather than yours, which is what lets you control the apparent origin of your traffic.
Yes. Proxies are ordinary network infrastructure, used routinely by enterprises, security teams and researchers. What matters is what you do with them. Collecting public data is generally lawful; unauthorised access, fraud and circumventing security controls are not, and our Acceptable Use Policy prohibits them.
Try datacenter first — it is by far the cheapest and if your target accepts it you are done. If you see blocks or ASN-based filtering, move to residential. Use ISP when you need residential trust with low latency and a static address, and mobile only when residential is being challenged.
No. We meter the response body of requests returning 2xx or 3xx. Connection setup, retries, blocked responses and CONNECT overhead are not charged.
From consumer devices whose owners opted into a bandwidth-sharing programme run by one of our vetted partners. Participants are compensated, see a plain-language disclosure before installing, and can withdraw at any time. We re-verify consent on a rolling 30-day cycle and terminate partners who cannot evidence it.
Yes, within 7 days of a purchase, provided you have used less than 20% of the allocation and the account has no policy violations. Full terms are in the Refund Policy.
By default every request gets a new exit address. To hold one, add a session identifier to the username — session-abc123 — and optionally a lifetime with time-10. Requests carrying the same session identifier route through the same exit until it expires.
Yes. Every new account gets 1 GB of residential traffic with no card required. Enterprise evaluations can request a larger proof-of-concept allocation through sales.
